WE NEED YOU
Many web sites ask for help and we thought we would follow the trend. Why should you help us? Well, for starters, we really work hard on this site. Simply take a look at our downloadable topos and you'll agree that they are of good quality and that our web site is easy to navigate. We travel around the continent collecting topos nationwide and we put new topos up for grab every month, all this for free.

GET OUR MODELS
You can easily make guidebooks with our Illustrator models. Type in the names of the routes and the ratings, draw a little topo and that's it.

THE REWARD PROGRAM

As you might have seen with the flash animation, we now offer gear discounts to reward climbers who send us topos.
The program is new and we will have to see how it works out and make adjustments if necessary. However, the main idea is pretty simple and should remain the same. Here's how it works:
1. YOU design, make and send us a good sized topo.
2. If we accept it, we might change a few things to fit it to our format.
3. You get 40% discount in any item on the list to the right.

Ok, this might not make you rich and you should do this for fun. It's not that hard to make topos and it's a good way to spend time in between routes. Still, when you're finished, you'll have saved a few bucks on stuff you need.

Please send us any questions you might have.

GUIDELINE TO DESIGNING A TOPO
When you make your guidebook, you'll need to consult existing ones, unless you know your crag really well. Street names, the names of climbs and their ratings are public knowledge, so you shouldn't have too many problems with these items. The descriptions, pictures and drawings in existing guidebooks are not public property, so you'll have to write down the names and ratings and then go out there, take notes, and creat your own descriptions and drawings.

Drawings If you design a view from the top, you'll need descriptions to help locate the climbs. With a front view of the cliff, the descriptions might be useful but are not necessary.
