A few years ago, the mythical Chris Sharma spent some time in Montreal. He did a whole lot of chilling but he also established a few lines here and there. There some that we might never know about but Chris made sure to leave us with a testpiece in one of the main area: The King at Val-David. In this video, local beast Mathieu Elie go for the second ascent. This is archive footage that the boys shot last fall. Rumor has it that the reception hold broke but that the problem still goes.
The second video is of Le Cocu a problem put up last fall. I couldn't find a translation for "cocu" in English. But to make a long story short, my friend who put up this problem (not the guy in this video) was getting cheated on by his girlfriend at the time. He dumped her when he found out but somehow his girlfriend told around that he left her... I guess she is technically right but I thought that was a pretty funny way to say why they broke up.
