DrTopo is a website run by climbers for climbers. We need your help if we want to keep our guidebooks accurate and if we want the website to keep growing (and we sure do).
There are a few ways you can help DrTopo.
2. Send corrections to a guidebook.
We can't go back to each crag every year , so we need you to keep our free guidebooks accurate.
Ok, we'll be honest up front. If you send us an email to tell us that a problem is not V4 but V5 we're probably not gonna change it. Why? Because it might only be your opinion. Also the V scale is not that precise and there will always be a gray area. Finally, at DrTopo, we condone sandbags. It's good to keep your ego in check.
What we want are more important corrections. Did the road or parking changed? Is there a bunch of new routes? Do you know the names of routes labeled "unnamed" in the guide. Is there a whole new crag you want to add to the guide? Send us an email (alex@drtopo.com) with the corrections and we'll take care of that. If you want, we can also send you an unlocked version of the pdf that you can open in Illustrator and work directly in it.
