Less than an hour South of Salt Lake City, American Fork hosts plenty of hard routes as well as many moderates. The limestone is not the more esthetic but the climbing is fun and... steeeep.

The routes are spread out on many crags, some close to the road, some within a 45 minute hike, so it's easy to choose between crowds or solitude.
