With the majority of climbs in the 5.9 to 5.11 range (and still many easier), Heart Creek is a good choice for the beginner and intermediate climbers. You should be able to get to the base of the first climbs in 30 minutes from Canmore, and the canyon stays cool in the summer.

It get sometimes crowded with guided classes, but the canyon is big enough and there are always some quiet crags.
