Summer escape
The Tramway is 8000 feet above Palm Springs. As the name says, you have to take a tram to get up there, which is the only bad thing about the Tram. Once you are on the mountain, you will find more boulders that you can imagine. They might be not as tall as the big ones at Black Mountain, but they are steeper. Not a destination if you are on a tight budget, but if you don't mind to pay $20, it is way worth it.

The infos for this topo were collected in July 2001, but as we were shown new areas almost every day, and that our time was limited, we were not able to make a complete guide. Consider it as an initiation to the Tram. You will find maps to help you find the problems, but you won't find many names or ratings. If you have information that was not included in the topo, please send us an email and help us make the guide more complete.
