Prescott's Finest
Prescott is a small town located half way between Flagstaff and Phoenix, about 25 minutes West of I-17.
From there, another 15 minutes will get you in Groom Creek. The boulders are made of a slick granite (although the rock can get coarse in some places) and the majority of the problems are faces.

At an elevation of about 6,000 feet, Groom Creek is climbable from Spring to Fall. Although Summer can get pretty hot, you'll always find problems in the shade.

This place is worth the detour.
